Adidas Sambas Are The Shoe of The Summer
Trendy shoes come and go, but some last forever, which is about two or three years for shoes. Most of us have our dirty beat-up air force Nikes and platform Converse collecting dust in our closets as proof.
There is a new shoe in town, however, which I guarantee will receive the same love, if not more than previous trendy shoes: The Adidas Samba.
Sambas have been growing in popularity for a while, but 2024 is their year to shine. Especially with summer on the horizon, Sambas are the go-to shoe of the season because of their comfortability, versatility, and aesthetic.
Personally, I find Sambas to be very comfortable. I bought the Black and White Sambae with the bubblegum sole. To test them out, I wore them on my trip to Seattle earlier this year. To my suprise, they were as comfortable as my Converse platforms. My feet practically sank into these shoes, making them a reliable option for walking in a city.
Sambas are also versatile. I wear them everywhere: when I go shopping, when I go to school, when I go on dates, etc. They are appropriate for any occasion, and they look good with any outfit as well. I love pairing these shoes with jeans, but they look good with dresses, skirts, linens, shorts, you name it. They elevate any outfit, and you’ll most likely get a compliment too.
The current aesthetic that follows the Sambas is hard to deny. When I open up Pinterest, the Sambas are always the shoes paired with a summer outfit. It’s not because they’re trendy, but because they are so aesthetically pleasing. They even look cute sitting in a closet. The Sambas also come in different colors which is also a perk.
Although they are a little over $100, I recommend these shoes, especially for the summer. In my opinion, trendy shoes are worth the investment because they last as long as the trend does or even longer if you take care of them. But don’t buy the shoes just because they’re trendy. I included three reasons why the Sambas are worth the investment which proves they go beyond the trend.
